About me
Portrait of Tamara Frehner
As a lawyer and SBA / SCCM mediator, I advise private clients and entrepreneurs in the preferred practice areas of contract, estate and family law.
I listen to you, understand your goals, support you in problem solving, whether related to family or business.
Careful planning, hard work and a vision result in the accumulation of wealth, as well as its transfer and implementation. The starting point is the client’s personal, financial, family, and business goals, often with a sensitive relationship between each one of these concerns. I help you to write your will, to regulate your business succession, as well as to create powers of attorney, health care proxies and living wills.
Furthermore, I support you in defending and enforcing claims, drawing up contracts and I also advise you in negotiations. In family law, as in divorce, it is not a matter of winning or losing, but rather of actively shaping your future.
Sometimes inheritance disputes cannot be avoided. These are challenging and personally stressful due to difficult family dynamics, require high financial stakes, and involve delays and risks. Resolving problems is better than litigation, as early as the estate planning stage, during the division of the estate, by taking active actions while everyone is still communicating with each other.
I will gladly advise you out of court in negotiations or mediation, and, if no other option is available, support you in litigation and settlement negotiations.
